Lovingly ripped off from Bristol’s iconic d’n’b night in the ’90s, Ruffsketch Ting is basically me taking long nature walks and stopping here and there to make very quick sketches of the landscape. Often not looking at the pad while making a mark, in some ways, I suppose I see this approach as akin to sampling; maybe even a kind of dance in the sense of connecting movements of consciousness with space and time.
