I’ve had a variety of DJ names over the years, but could never settle on one until recently I decided to go with ‘DJ Fingle’. Being a Dartmoor lad, I like the nod to a much loved area of the River Teign near to where I grew up, plus it’s taken from the old English word ‘fang’ meaning ‘to catch’, which is a reference to catching fish and I thought this was a good metaphor in terms of DJs ‘fishing’ for records!
