Darkness
It all fades to black
a candle within
since extinguished
you cannot see
and yet you see
there is nothing
to see
anymore
concentration
fails you
focusing
into eternal emptiness
that envelops you
the light has vanished
you no longer understand
anything
you no longer understand
yourself
making decisions
without a compass
wings clipped
one last look
at the horizon
after dusk
reflect upon
a tragedy
no more
a final act
seems like
all that’s
necessary
when
dreaming of the other side
in despair.
